Northern Trust Open

Wasserman Media Group brought WAG onboard to help with the primary challenge for this event- providing an elegant entrance experience for the public, through what is actually the back-of-house delivery entrance at The Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, CA.

Our design response was to create a choreographed sequence of alternating indoor and outdoor experiences, with directed views to hide the unsightly adjacent areas and break up the long walk from the shuttle drop off to the golf course.

Along the way, we kept the visitors’ attentions with services (ticketing and concierge), exhibit materials and acknowledgements of the event sponsors.

The Creation of the “Southern California Boardwalk Experience,” took guests through the welcome entrance, ticketing, Northern Trust branding experience, sponsor activations and historical photo montage through the history of the tournament.
